The Baby Newt is a newt who appears in the TV series. He begins the journey from Farthing Wood to White Deer Park with his parents Newt and Mrs Newt. The Baby Newt struggles the most with the long journey especially during dry segments. They elect to stay behind in the army marsh land to which the others reluctantly agree.
Unfortunately afterwards a wild fire is ignited by a cigarette and last seen heading back in their direction. Their fate is unknown as no one saw their bodies.
