The Common Kestrel (also known as the European Kestrel) is a European, Asian and African species of kestrel. The species is only featured in the first two series of The Animals of Farthing Wood TV series and only appear as a major character in the first three books in The Animals of Farthing Wood book series, although others are briefly mentioned in later books.
