Mrs Vole is the mate of Vole in the book series. She is never specifically mentioned in the first book, but it is assumed that she made the journey from Farthing Wood to White Deer Park with the other voles as it is specifically stated in the second book that Vole does have a mate.
Mrs Vole is one of only two Farthing Wood voles to survive the animals' first winter in the park, the other being her husband Vole. They reproduce during the spring, but she is among the voles who are killed in a mass attack by Scarface, leaving just Vole and one male member of his family alive.
Vole does not have a mate at any point during the TV series. Instead he makes the journey to White Deer Park with his mother.
